The Director General of the Ministry of Health conducted a tour at Reuth Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital

The Director General of the Ministry of Health, Moshe Bar Siman Tov, conducted (18.3.26) a tour at Reuth Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital, in order to gain a close impression of the ongoing activities during the days of the war.

During his visit, he met with the hospital director, Dr. Orit Stein Reisner, the Chair of the Reuth Association, Prof. Nachman Ash, and the Association’s CEO, Ido Sharir.

Bar Siman Tov spoke with the teams who presented the medical response provided to hospitalized patients at the hospital in light of the security challenges, and also heard a comprehensive review of the transfer of some of the hospital’s departments to the fortified underground complex at Sheba.

The hospital director emphasized during the visit the commitment of the hospital teams to maintaining continuity of care and a high standard of quality treatment, and elaborated on the operational and economic challenges involved.

Moshe Bar Siman Tov, Director General of the Ministry of Health, expressed his deep appreciation to the medical teams at Reuth Hospital for their work during the war, and emphasized the rapid professional preparedness in transitioning from routine to emergency, and the teams’ readiness to continue rehabilitation care.

Dr. Orit Stein Reisner noted: “We are working in full cooperation with the Ministry of Health, and I welcome this important visit, which strengthens our teams and supports them during these complex days under daily missile threats. Our most important mission is to continue providing medical care and to serve as an anchor for our patients and their families, who need us even more during these times.”
