A tradition of excellence

Reuth Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital has achieved the highest possible rating in the Israeli Ministry of Health’s 2024 National Quality Indicators Report.

The annual report, which evaluated 45 geriatric rehabilitation centers across Israel, is part of the National Program for Quality Indicators in Medicine. Its goal is to promote high-quality medical care in key areas of the healthcare system through systematic measurement and public reporting.

Reuth received the top score in multiple indicators, including:

  • Functional assessment in rehabilitation following hip fracture
  • Diabetic foot assessment within 24 hours
  • Comprehensive nutritional evaluation within 5 days for ventilated patients
  • Depression assessment within 7 days following a stroke in geriatric rehabilitation
  • Cognitive screening documented during hospitalization and in discharge letters
  • Comprehensive medication review and documented physician recommendations

For the first time, the 2024 report also included indicators on acquired pressure ulcers. According to the findings, Reuth’s rate of pressure ulcers per 1,000 hospitalization days was significantly lower than the national average.

According to Reuth’s Director, Dr. Orit Stein Reisner, “Once again, our hospital has been awarded the quality seal. This top ranking reflects the thorough and professional processes carried out by our dedicated teams, all of whom contribute to our organizational effort and commitment to maximizing excellence in every area of rehabilitative care. We will continue to strive for excellence and provide the very best care for our patients and their families.”
