Tel Aviv-Yafo Mayor Ron Huldai visited Reuth Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital yesterday evening (24.6.25) , to strengthen the morale of the staff and the rehabilitating patients at the hospital. Huldai was accompanied by the CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation, Dr. Hella Oren.
The two met with hospital staff, spoke with patients, inquired about their well-being, and were impressed firsthand by the medical response and continuous professional work during the war.
The Mayor and the CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation were accompanied on their tour by the Hospital Director, Dr. Orit Stein Reisner, the Chairman of the Reuth Association, Prof. Nachman Ash, and the CEO of the Association, Ido Sharir.
Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality and the Tel Aviv Foundation are currently promoting, together with the hospital, the project to establish the new hospital in the Sde Dov area of the city. The new rehabilitation campus is planned to be the largest in Israel, providing solutions for existing rehabilitation gaps and including a variety of advanced medical services with improved and modern hotel-like conditions.

Hospital Director, Dr. Orit Stein Reisner, stated: “I thank the Mayor and the CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation for this important visit for our dear staff and patients. The hospital operates in an emergency routine for the benefit of thousands of our patients, with massive investment in maintaining a vital continuum of medical care. We are prepared to admit wounded who will require rehabilitation and are making every effort to provide our rehabilitating patients with an anchor and a supportive environment”.
Chairman of the Reuth Association, Prof. Nachman Ash, said: “The important visit of the Mayor symbolizes the important and long-standing connection between Reuth and the city of Tel Aviv. Our medical teams, many of whom have family members serving on the front lines, work tirelessly to provide dedicated and professional care to every patient. The current crisis highlights the urgent need to establish a new medical campus that will enable quality care in a protected environment during an emergency”.
CEO of the Association, Ido Sharir, commented: “The visit of the Mayor and the CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation is of great importance in strengthening the staff and patients. The existing infrastructure gaps at the hospital only strengthen us in jointly leading the flagship project of building the hospital’s new campus”
