Ido Sharir, CEO of Reuth, participated the Jerusalem Post Conference in New York. Sharir participated in the conference alongside senior figures from Israel and the US, including former Vice President Mike Pence; Governor of the Bank of Israel, Amir Yaron; heads of the American Jewish community, and others.

In a special session dedicate to the challenges facing the Israeli rehabilitation system during wartime, Sharir shared a few stories of patients undergoing rehabilitation at Reuth TLV after being injured in the war; patients whose chronic conditions worsened as a result of the war; and what Reuth TLV is doing to support its staff (many of whom serve in the reserves).

Sharir concluded by speaking about Reuth TLV’s flagship project – the construction of a new campus in northern Tel Aviv in partnership with the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality and the Tel Aviv Foundation. The new campus will increase the availability of cutting-edge infrastructure and rehabilitation services, greatly benefiting the population of Israel.

Sharir emphasized that the new campus will provide “a high quality medical response and reduce the existing shortages of rehabilitation services in the State of Israel”.
